Abstract In recent years, the architecture, engineering and construction industry is increasingly embracing digital design approaches robotic production methods. This as well noticeable in façade sector, especially when it comes to architectural tasks dealing with complex geometries or adaptive components. Although glass mainly used facades due its transparency, often determines significantly aesthetic appearance of a building has control transmitted light visibility between exterior interior. Recently, novel method for producing polychromatic panels by fusing granular powder different colours onto surface annealed float kilning process was developed at ETH Zurich. By using multi-channel tool attached arm placing surface, digitally designed patterns can be realised precisely repetitively. paper focuses on structural behaviour micro-structural characteristics this type coloured applications.
